Big Fun for Big Groups!

Planning a destination getaway with a big bunch of people is often more of a production than your average trip. But given the rarity of opportunities for everyone to gather at the same time & place for a few sun-kissed days, the extra effort is worth it for the memories you'll make.

Eleuthera Vacation Rentals makes it easy!

Weddings, reunions, retreats, milestone celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, graduations), or just large families & friend groups vacationing together - Eleuthera is hands-down one of the best beach havens for big group bashes. In addition to availability of many luxury beachfront properties well-suited to welcome your grand gathering, the island is also secluded enough to offer ample privacy and respite for you and your travel buddies. Bonus: Our knowledgeable team at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals can offer insider tips on local outings, adventures, and dining options that can comfortably accommodate a crowd.

Whether you're a group of 2 or 22, we're committed to ensuring everyone's visit is fabulous and unforgettable!

What to Do When There's 20+ of You:

See the Sights

Sightseeing on Eleuthera doesn't disappoint. Hatchet Bay Cave and Preacher's Cave both offer cool, unique scenery. The Glass Window Bridge is a showstopper. The Cliffs at Rainbow Bay are worth visiting - especially when the Atlantic side is roiling. Rock Sound Ocean Hole is a sweet swimming & picnic spot. If you're feeling especially adventurous, it's an ideal location for cliff jumping, as the water is 700 feet deep and teeming with tame tropical fish.

If you're eager for a bigger thrill, check out Sapphire Hole, a small ocean hole with 25-foot cliffs.

Wade Into the Waters

Eleuthera is only the paradise it is because of the sparkling, clear-blue water that surrounds it - and there are lots of ways to experience it from beyond the shore.

One of the more unique visitor ventures is swimming with the pigs. For this, as well as hand-feeding sea turtles and stingrays, our go-to-guide is Captain Sheldon with Exotic Excursions 242. He & his crew can take your party to Spanish Wells for incredible swimming, snorkeling, sand bank exploring, reef fishing, and conch-diving tours. (They'll even dice up fresh conch salad with your catch right on the boat!) For those who want to speed things up a bit, there's the Ultimate Adventure Tour with water skiing, tubing, and knee boarding.

Looking to explore the deserted islands off the coast? Link up with Eleuthera Tours and schedule a Boat Trip to the Schooner Cays. Tour guides can keep you company while you're shelling & exploring, or your group can opt for a few hours of total privacy. Gourmet picnic lunch & drinks provided.

Eleuthera Tours also offers up "Da Real Bahamian 'Ting" for those who want the authentic experience of diving for conch, snorkeling in the reef, and bottom fishing for grouper and snapper. Contact Eleuthera Tours by emailing info@eleutheratours.com or by calling (242) 557-7381.

Want to go it alone? Check out Twin Cove Beach for top-tier snorkeling.

Feast on Local Fare

Phil's Kitchen is a brand new, outdoor beachfront cookhouse on Ten Bay serving up savory plates of some of the best BBQ around. Daily menu features include burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, ribs, pork chops, peas 'n' rice, and sides like macaroni & plantain.

Sunset Cove & Rainbow Inn has the tastiest pizza in town! A hotel in Rainbow Bay with a pool & restaurant, this vibrant hub is known for its high-end, fresh seafood, juicy steaks, and live jazz. But don't miss out on the wood-fired pizzas! You can also order pies to go.

Want a taste of the real Bahamas? Don't miss the weekly Friday night fish fry in Governor's Harbour. Chow down on down-home fried Jack or Snapper fish, BBQ chicken & pork chops. Wash it all down with couple of Eleuthera's famous '"Rum Bubbas."

Shop 'Til You Drop

Check out Pam's Island Made Gift Shop on Queen's Highway in Gregory Town.

This shop has a cool collection of handmade crafts and clothing. It's the perfect place to pick up a souvenir - like a colorful jewelry, unique baskets, mugs, candles, & more!

Gift shop hours are Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel a bit farther with a day trip to Harbour Island. You'll find amazing restaurants, pristine beaches, and an authentic straw market - with local shops like A and A Hidden TreasuresMiss Mae's Fine ThingsDilly DallyDake's Shoppe, and Bahamian Shells & Tings. Score great deals on one-of-a-kind local artisan creations like shell jewelry, wood carvings, clothing, paintings, and more.

Festive Fun With Friends

Eleuthera has some incredible annual cultural events that can be a blast for big groups.

The Junkanoo Festival is traditionally held at Christmas & New Year's, though sometimes during the summer as well. Performers are brightly dressed in elaborate costumes and the music is spectacular.

The Pineapple Festival is also a popular yearly event - a celebration of the famous Eleuthera pineapples. There is always delectable food, street performances, contests, upbeat music, more food, lots of pineapples, and even more fun!

The Pineapple Festival is typically the first week of June.
